Saying the devil choked me before I woke up thing made me think of when I had severe sleep paralysis. I couldn’t sleep because of it and I couldn’t stop it because I wasn’t sleeping. For two years straight I could cry thinking I was crazy and maybe it was all real (lack of sleep made me kinda loose it) I would fall asleep everywhere and get it. I would wake up with marks on me. So I genuinely started to believe there was like some demon attacking me. Got therapy tho and now I’m much better and of course know there was no demon. Just a lack of sleep and being afraid of sleep will make you feel like nothing yet everything is real. Not saying that’s what he had. And it’s not an excuse. I was loosing my mind over it but never once thought to hurt someone. Even the man that caused my ptsd and is the reason I wasn’t able to sleep. Never even thought of hurting him. So that’s a him issue but could’ve been his mind “justifying” it.

When I was taking meds for bipolar (turns out it was a misdiagnosis but still) I was warned hundreds of times that I could not, under any circumstances, do drugs and mix with the meds.
